Green

Green is the new mantra, the new buzzword. Earlier it was only commercial buildings which could get the certification of green building. And now that the trend has shifted to residential township, the builders in India are taking initiatives to construct green homes.
The reason why everybody is turning Green today can be attributed not only to environmental consciousness, but also to the fact that it has many benefits attached to it. Not only do you save up to 30% of energy and 50% of fresh water, but you also cause 70 % less air pollution.

And that’s the message ‘Green homes’ convey today. A Green home, through better setting, design, construction, operation, and maintenance, increases the efficiency with which buildings use resources — energy, water, and materials — reducing the building’s impact on human health and the environment during the building's lifecycle. Every Green home receives a certification from IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) once it fulfils certain parameters.

Few builders in India have adopted the Green Home concept. Aliens Space Station 1 from Hyderabad is the first of its kind. They have the highest rating (Platinum pre-certification) by IGBC. Palais Royale and Mahindra Splendour (both are in Mumbai) are some others who have chosen to go green like the Aliens group. It’s still a long way to go but the trend is fast catching up. Embracing a greener lifestyle isn't just about helping to preserve equatorial rain forests, it also means improving your health, padding your bank account, and, ultimately, improving your overall quality of life.
Let us take the Green pledge, sing the green anthem and go greener.

Latest construction techniques

History showcases building and landmarks that have reached extraordinary levels in architectural design and construction engineering. Even now it is still hard to conceive how they could have all these buildings and structures erected with such high level of perfection and precision, using only primitive and naive tools far incomparable with modern machinery and equipment!

Today, smarter techniques are changing the face of construction industry. Massive foundation, high-rise structure, shear walls, form work technology, are some of these modern construction technologies.

Some of the world renowned buildings with unique and amazing shapes are Forest Spiral – Hundertwasser Building, Germany, The Basket Building (Ohio, United States), Wonderworks (Pigeon Forge, TN, United States) and many more.
There are massive structures in India developed by firms like Hiranandani in Mumbai, Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd. in Mumbai, Aliens Group and L&T in Hyderabad etc. These construction industry bigwigs and their designs will make India shine at a global level in real estate designs and architecture.
With home automation addressing these lifestyle aspects living in such a building is experience in itself.

It is intelligent to choose to live in a place that is rich in structural integrity, a design that makes your home both eco friendly and future ready.
